If you can’t log in to Planyway or open it properly, this article can help you solve the issue.
Power-Up doesn’t appear in Trello
If you’re using Planyway as a Trello Power-Up and it doesn’t appear on your board, first make sure that Trello itself is working correctly.
Planyway works on top of Trello, so if Trello is down or experiencing issues, Planyway may not load either.
Check Trello’s status here: https://trello.status.atlassian.com
Then check that Planyway is enabled on your Trello board:
Open the required Trello board.
Go to Power-Ups.
Make sure Planyway is enabled.
Try disabling and enabling it again.
Refresh the page and open Planyway once more.
Also, make sure you can log in to your Trello account directly. Try logging out of Trello and logging back in again.
Login issues in the standalone version
If you’re having trouble logging in to the standalone version of Planyway at planyway.com/app, the issue may be related to browser settings, cookies, cache, or extensions.
Please check the following:
Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser.
Check that browser extensions are not blocking Planyway.
Disable ad blockers or privacy tools temporarily.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Try logging in again.
You can also try opening Planyway:
In another browser, for example Chrome.
In an incognito/private window.
On a different device.
If Planyway works in another browser or device, the issue is most likely related to your local browser settings or extensions.
Login issues in Desktop Trello app
If the issue happens in the Trello Desktop app, try opening Planyway in your browser. If Planyway works correctly in the browser, the issue is most likely related to the Desktop app rather than Planyway itself.
In this case, try the following:
Update Trello Desktop to the latest version.
Reinstall Trello Desktop if updating does not help.
If login redirects you to the browser, complete login there and return to Desktop.
Make sure you are logged in to the correct Trello account.
Open the Trello board and check if Planyway is enabled in Power-Ups.
Try disabling and enabling the Planyway Power-Up again.
Use the web version as a temporary workaround if Planyway works in the browser.
If the issue continues, contact support and use the web version as a temporary workaround if Planyway works in the browser.
Login issue in Safari browser
If you’re using Planyway in Safari and can’t log in, the issue may be related to Safari’s privacy settings.
Try disabling cross-site tracking protection:
Open Safari.
Go to Safari > Settings or Preferences.
Open the Privacy tab.
Disable Prevent cross-site tracking.
Refresh Trello or Planyway and try logging in again.
Note: Safari may delete third-party website data by default. Since Planyway runs inside Trello, Safari may treat it as a third-party service.
Login issue in Microsoft Teams
If you’re using Planyway in Microsoft Teams and can’t log in, try clearing the Microsoft Teams cache.
Here’s how to do it on Windows:
Fully quit Microsoft Teams and make sure it’s not still running in the toolbar.
Open File Explorer, type
%appdata%, and press Enter.
Open the Microsoft folder.
Find the Teams folder.
Clear everything inside the Teams folder.
Open Microsoft Teams again.
Log in and try opening Planyway.
For macOS, please follow Microsoft’s instructions for clearing the Teams cache.
If clearing the cache doesn’t help, try opening Planyway in a separate window using the pop-out app or pop-out tab option. Then log in to Planyway and move the window back into Microsoft Teams.
Access restrictions: ISP, admin, firewall, or antivirus
In some cases, access to Planyway may be blocked by your network environment.
This can happen because of:

Firewall rules.
Admin restrictions.
Antivirus software.
Try the following:
Switch to another network, for example a mobile hotspot.
Use a VPN.
Contact your system administrator.
Add https://planyway.com to the exceptions list in your antivirus or firewall settings.
